150 million children worldwide are engaged in child labour that deprives them of their basic rights and opportunities. That is why we are committed to building schools in the Third World. Because education is the way out of poverty and child labour. In cooperation with the children's charities "terre des hommes" and "Kinder in Afrika", 10 schools have been built in developing countries such as Mali, Peru and Uganda. We are currently building the eleventh school together with Arise e. V. in Ghana.
"As entrepreneurs, we also always have a social responsibility," says Managing Director Gerhard Gollnest. "With our toys, we not only
want to bring more adventure into children's rooms, but also support those children who otherwise have no chance of an education. With the development of schools and our concepts for sustainability, we want to fulfil this responsibility. The happiness of children is close to our hearts and drives us – whether it's developing new play ideas or helping to create a better future."
